Eve leaves the safety of her cave in the Dreaming in order to look for Matthew in the waking world. Heedless of the consequences, Eve calls in a very old debt to aid her search, while Lucien the librarian makes an extremely personal sacrifice for the suddenly ravenless lady of nightmares.
